History

Final International University (FIU) was established in 2015 in Kyrenia, North Cyprus. This institution was created through a collaboration between Final Education Institutions, a leading educational brand in Turkey, and the DMG-Akgünler Group, a major player in North Cyprus’s tourism sector.

Final Education Institutions

Final Education Institutions have been delivering educational services across Turkey for over 42 years. They operate more than 600 schools, ranging from kindergarten to high school, and have helped over four million students achieve their educational goals. With 21,000 staff members, Final is also a prominent publisher of books and magazines in Turkey. The founding of Final International University in 2015 marked Final’s entry into higher education.

DMG-Akgünler Group

Founded in 1978 as Akgünler Tourism, DMG-Akgünler Group has expanded its investments across various sectors, including accommodation, transportation, tourism marketing, and cargo services. The group is a top operator in these areas, having invested in key tourism establishments such as the renowned Acapulco Hotel in North Cyprus. Additionally, DMG-Akgünler leads the island in tour organization, as well as air and sea transportation. This partnership between Final Education Institutions and DMG-Akgünler Group aims to excel in higher education.
